 What is the difference between recycled gold and new-mined gold?

NOTE: The screen colours of the precious and non-precious metals in our pieces should be viewed as a general guide only. Computer screens vary and can affect the hue of images. For example, the gold colour often illustrated in our collections is relative to 18 carat 750 hallmark. If you require other shades of gold please tell us. For example, mixed colour shades of jewellery are also possible - natural white gold, yellow gold, rose (red) gold ... or platinum. For ethical (environmental) reasons we do not plate our jewellery.
