HANDMADE LEVER SYSTEM ...

On the back of these FlowerPower Forget-Me-Not Petite earrings is an alternative Laibach closing mechanism with an attached pivoting back lever which snaps onto the pin.
The lever is also shaped to the earlobe, giving your ear support and keeping the earring perfectly balanced. This all-in-one design with its unique form and aesthetics also means no separate back-clip.
Although this is a more expensive fitting option (approx. 35 Euro more in silver) Kerstin Laibach recommends this mechanism on many of her earring designs.
If you require this fitting on your earrings please add "Lever System" in your order details.

HANDMADE SCROLL SYSTEM ...

The back of the same FlowerPower Forget-Me-Not Petite earrings with the more typical backstop "scroll" mechanism which snaps onto the pin. These are the default clips which will come with this style of earring. If you require an alternative fitting such as the lever system above please state in your order details.

In most cases, she can also change your current earrings with a comfortable closing mechanism, fitted to your exact requirements.

Skin Allergies and Earrings (and other piercing adornments)

Please first note ... If you are wearing old jewellery it may contain nickel. Nickel allergy develops after frequent contact with items containing nickel, whereby a dermatitis rash will appear on skin contact.

Laibach does not use any precious metals containing nickel.

If you suffer from a nickel allergy, please do not confuse this with a possible allergy to other metals alloyed in some precious metals.

If you are sure that you have a specific allergy to certain precious metals, Kerstin Laibach can make your earrings so that such metals are replaced with an non-allergenic option in the area which comes into contact with your skin. For example, you may wish to have a pair of silver earrings, whereby the pins, closing mechanisms and surrounding contact areas can be made in white gold.
