Measuring Your Bangle / Bracelet Size Please read all the following information carefully ...   We accept bangle and bracelet measurements taken by the methods mentioned below. Any other "do it yourself" measuring methods found elsewhere on the internet are inadequate for our requirements as they are invariably riddled with potential fitting problems.

Bangle Measurement

How your wrist is measured for bangles depends on the style of bangle you require:

1. OPEN BANGLE (oval)
2. HINGED BANGLE (oval) with closing mechanism.

SNUG FIT
	Open Bangle (oval with open section).
	Hinged Bangle (oval with closing mechanism)

These two bangle styles above are usually made to be a more snug fit around the wrist.
The "OPEN" bangle can be be slid over the hand because it slightly stretches as the open section allows room for movement as it is pushed on or pulled off.
The "HINGED" bangle can only be put on or taken off by opening it first.
These two types of bangles specifically require a professional measurement. Please visit a local jeweller who may ask a small fee to measure your wrist size with the proper measuring instruments. Please ask your jeweller to provide the measurements in millimetres. The measurements we require are the broader width of your wrist plus the narrower width. Once we have these measurements we can then discuss with you how snug or loose you would require your finished piece.

3. CLOSED BANGLE (round with no opening)

	Closed Bangle (large round with no opening)

The CLOSED round bangle is a popular "big" style that is pushed tightly over the hand to ensure that it doesn't fall off.
As a first measuring choice, and to ensure a good fit for your "CLOSED" round bangle please ask for our "Bangle Sizer" when ordering your bangle and we will post it to you immediately. This is a free service and clear instructions are included.

Aquiring Your Bangle Measurement

ASK FOR OUR BANGLE SIZER
Checking your bangle size at home with our Sizer is the most relaxed method to help you find a comfortable fit.
For customers in Germany or UK we provide a stamped addressed envelope.
For customers in other countries we provide an addressed envelope, and return postage will be refunded via an adjustment to your final payment.
As soon as we have received the Sizer back, Kerstin Laibach can begin work on your bangle.

JEWELLERY SHOP MEASUREMENT
If you need your bangle urgently and our Bangle Sizer postal option would take too long, then as a second choice for measuring a CLOSED bangle fit, we suggest that you visit a local jeweller who may ask a small fee to measure your bangle size with the correct measuring instruments. Please ask your jeweller to provide your ROUND bangle diameter size in millimetres. Also ask the jeweller to provide you the measurement size relating to the type of instrument they have used, then send us all these details. Please note: it is your ROUND BANGLE size we require in the case of a CLOSED bangle ... NOT wrist size.

 

Bracelet Measurement We define a bracelet as a flexible wrist piece made with chain links - and with an opening / closing mechanism. When you order a bracelet from Kerstin Laibach we will send you our information sheet in PDF Format, which explains exactly how to provide us with your bracelet size.

Avoiding Sizing Problems and Important Advice Relating to Our Sizing Conditions

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot accept responsibility if the finished bangle or bracelet is based exactly on the measurement you have given us, but does not fit because you had originally provided us with the wrong size. So please ensure that you are absolutely certain of your size when placing your order.
