Kerstin Laibach handmakes
every aspect of her pieces including intricate chains and closing
mechanisms. This aligns with her
ethical principles,
which, without compromise, also means nothing newly-mined, so no environment / habitat displacement,
no animal-derived products and is cruelty-free.
What
is the difference between recycled gold and new-mined
gold?
NOTE: The screen colours of the precious and non-precious metals in Laibach pieces should be viewed as a general guide only. Computer screens vary and can affect the hue of images. For example, the gold colour often illustrated in Laibach collections is relative to 18 carat 750 hallmark. If you require other shades of gold please state your wishes when enquiring. For example, mixed colour shades of jewellery are also possible - natural white gold, yellow gold, champagne gold, rose (red) gold ... or platinum. For ethical (environmental) reasons Kerstin Laibach does not plate her jewellery.
